Hunter’s Mark is a level 1 Divination spell in Baldur’s Gate 3 that lets certain classes mark their targets and then deal additional damage against them.

Divination Spell

Mark a creature as your quarry to deal an additional 1d6 Weapon damage whenever you hit it with a weapon attack. If the target dies before the spell ends, you can use Reapply Hunter’s Mark to mark a new creature.
Cost: Bonus Action + Level 1 spell slot
Range: 18 m (60 ft)
Additional damage: 1d6 Weapon (Per weapon attack)
Requires: Concentration
Condition: Hunter’s Mark Quarry
- Duration: Until long rest
- Affected entity suffers an additional 1d6 Weapon damage if the spellcaster hits it with a weapon attack.
Condition: Hunt Completed
- Can use a bonus action to reapply Hunter’s Mark to another target.
How to learn Hunter’s Mark
The following classes can learn Hunter’s Mark in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Ranger Level 2
- Oath of Vengeance Paladin Level 3
- College of Lore Bard Level 6 through Magical Secrets class feature
- All Bards Level 10 through Magical Secrets class feature
Additionally, any class can unlock a free cast of Hunter’s Mark by equipping the Grymskull Helm or the Hunting Shortbow.
