Arcanist Class Overview

The Arcanist Class is an extremely powerful way to play in The Elder Scrolls Online. Arcanists have many similarities with other classes in ESO such as dedicated Class Skill lines for DPS, for Healing, and for Tanking. Best Magicka Arcanist Leveling Sets

First, Mother’s Sorrow is one of the best beginner sets in the game for Magicka builds as it helps increase Critical Chance and Maximum Magicka to bring your build more damage and sustain.

The next set I recommend is Spinner’s Garments – a very useful starter set in ESO that provides more Penetration, allowing all of your abilities to do more damage.

For the final two pieces of gear on this build Armor Of The Trainee is recommended for the extra Health and Magicka.

Alternate Magicka Arcanist Leveling Sets

The War Maiden set is another powerful option for the Arcanist class as most of you skills do Magic damage, which this set buffs.

Another nice option for beginners is the Crafty Alfiq set which gives you a massive boost to your Magicka stat, allowing you to deal more damage and sustain skills for longer.

Remember that your armor pieces can go into any gear slot, meaning you only need to use 10 slots total for this build. I recommend using the Level Up Rewards weapons (Prophet’s Staff) to make up the remaining 2 open gear slots.

Most of our skills cost Magicka to cast, so putting all Attribute Points into the Magicka stat will be the most effective.

Magicka Arcanist Leveling Build Race

Dark Elf will be the best option for this build as they have good Weapon and Spell Damage as well as Magicka and Stamina to help sustain our skills. Magicka Arcanist Leveling Build Mundus Stone

The best Mundus Stone for leveling in the Elder Scrolls Online is the Lover Mundus because this increases your Offensive Penetration, allowing all of your skills to do more damage. Offensive Penetration can usually only be obtained through Light Armor Passives and rarely on gear sets, so boosting this stat early through your Mundus Stone will make the biggest impact, helping you kill enemies faster and thus level up faster! This drink scales with your level and can be crafted or purchased from Guild Traders.

2. Pragmatic Fatecarver: your main DPS ability, this increases in damage with more Crux generated.

4. Escalating Runeblades: this basic spammable can help you build up Crux before using Pragmatic Fatecarver
5. Chakram Of Destiny: use this damage shield skill to help absorb damage. Can be precast before combat to prepare for incoming damage.
6. ULT: The Languide Eye: this ultimate deals a ton of damage in a small area! Make sure your enemies won’t move before you cast this!

4. Recuperative Treatise: this increases your Weapon and Spell Damage via the Major Sorcery and Major Brutality Buffs. Can also generate Crux if you have none.
5. Cruxweaver Armor: this the Major Resolve, improving your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance so you take less damage from enemies. Also debuffs enemy armor through the Minor Breach debuff AND generates Crux!
6. ULT: Sanctum Of The Abyssal Sea: this is your emergency damage shield ultimate. Save this for challenging boss fights with lots of enemies.
