Best Magicka Necromancer Leveling Sets
First, the Mother’s Sorrow set is an excellent starting option for any Magicka based class due to the extra Max Magicka and Critical Chance plus it’s relative ease to farm at any level. I recommend picking this up first.
The next set I recommend is Spinner’s Garments – another extremely useful early game set in The Elder Scrolls Online, increasing your Offensive Penetration which lets all of your damage abilities deal more true damage by ignoring enemy resistances.
For the final two pieces of gear on this build Armor Of The Trainee is recommended for the extra Health and Magicka.

Alternate Magicka Necromancer Leveling Sets
The Crafty Alfiq set is another powerful starter set that can give your build a TON of Magicka, boosting your damage and sustain.
Another nice option to increase your overall healing is the Winter’s Respite set, which creates a passive heal on the ground when you deal area damage. This can be very helpful when soloing and when playing groups!
Remember that your armor pieces can go into any gear slot, meaning you only need to use 10 slots total for this build. I recommend using the Level Up Rewards weapons (Prophet’s Staff) to make up the remaining 2 open gear slots.

0 Stamina
Magicka Necromancer Leveling Build Race
Dark Elf will be the best option for this build as they have good Weapon and Spell Damage as well as Magicka and Stamina to help sustain our skills. Breton is another solid option for beginners, having the best cost reduction for Magicka abilities in the game. Magicka Necromancer Leveling Build Mundus Stone
The best Mundus Stone for leveling in the Elder Scrolls Online is the Lover Mundus because this increases your Offensive Penetration, allowing all of your skills to do more damage. Offensive Penetration can usually only be obtained through Light Armor Passives and rarely on gear sets, so boosting this stat early through your Mundus Stone will make the biggest impact, helping you kill enemies faster and thus level up faster! Review our complete Mundus Stone guide for more information.
