Best Magicka Sorcerer Leveling Sets

First, Mother’s Sorrow is one of the best beginner sets in the game for Magicka builds as it helps increase Critical Chance and Maximum Magicka to bring your build more damage and sustain.

The next set I recommend is Spinner Garments – a very powerful starter set in ESO that increases Penetration, allowing all of your abilities to do more damage.

For the final two pieces of gear on this build Armor Of The Trainee is recommended for the extra Health and Magicka.

Alternative Magicka Sorcerer Leveling Sets

The Crafty Alfiq set is another powerful option for beginners in ESO offering lots of Maximum Magicka to help you cast spells more easily while also increasing your overall damage.

Another nice option for more Magicka on a sorcerer that uses pets is the Necropotence set. This is also an Overland set from the base game so it is very easy to pick up.

Remember that your armor pieces can go into any gear slot, meaning you only need to use 10 slots total for this build. I recommend using the Level Up Rewards weapons (Prophet’s Staff) to make up the remaining 2 open gear slots.

The best Mundus Stone for leveling in the Elder Scrolls Online is the Lover Mundus because this increases your Offensive Penetration, allowing all of your skills to do more damage. Offensive Penetration can usually only be obtained through Light Armor Passives and rarely on gear sets, so boosting this stat early through your Mundus Stone will make the biggest impact, helping you kill enemies faster and thus level up faster! 4. Boundless Storm: this is your Major Resolve buff which increases your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance, helping you take less damage from enemy attacks.
5. Critical Surge: always keep this buff active as it provides Major Brutality and Major Sorcery to boost your Weapon and Spell Damage while also passively healing you up to once a second every time you deal Critical Damage. This is one of the best passive heals in the game.
6. ULT: Suppression Field: a niche ultimate that can freeze enemies in place and deal damage. Useful for very large groups in tight areas.
