The LAW BRINGER Build is an incredibly EASY one-bar build for The Elder Scrolls Online, great for beginners and experienced players alike! This powerful Magicka Templar build comes with amazing AOE damage potential as well as self-healing, making you unkillable in most situations if played correctly. Plus all gear pieces are easy to obtain and no trials gear is required!
This guide has been updated for The Elder Scrolls Online Update 49 & Season Zero.
Templar Class Overview
The Templar Class is an extremely powerful way to play in The Elder Scrolls Online. Templars have powerful Class Skill lines great for DPS, Healing, Tanking, and playing Solo. Templars are a great choice for any build due to their many great damage and defensive options.

Primary Sets
The recommended items sets for the LAW BRINGER Magicka Templar build focus on increasing our overall Critical Chance as well as passive healing and survival.
First, the Winter’s Respite set is a great defensive set providing an easy self-heal that synergizes very well with the Templar’s other abilities and passives. Free healing is good!
Next, the Mother’s Sorrow set amplifies our Critical Chance very high, which is fantastic because we have so much additional Critical Hit Damage as a Templar as well as through Champion Points 2.0.
Finally, a mix of the Slimecraw Monster Set and Iceheart Monster Set just amplifies the potential Critical Chance for this build even further.

Winter’s Respite can be replaced with a more damage-focused set if you don’t need the free healing such as Medusa or War Maiden.

Combat Tips
Begin by pulling enemies towards you with your Lightning Staff. Once enemies are close, set down your Channeled Focus Rune to proc Winter’s Respite. Next, cast Solar Barrage and use Puncturing Sweeps against all enemies. Maintain a circle around enemies to keep them close together.
Use Silver Leash to pull enemies towards you if they attempt to stay at range.
