Looking for a Solo Magicka Sorcerer Build with nearly INFINITE Sustain, Massive Shields and Health Recovery? Look no further!! This build specializes in SURVIVAL and is so simple it can be run as a ONE BAR Build without needing a HEAL!!
Primary Sets
Our primary defensive set on this build is Alessian Order which buffs our Health Recovery at all times by over 1000! This, combined with our natural Health Recovery bonuses as a Sorcerer as well as massive shields through Hardened Ward gives us amazing survivability!
We’ve combined this with the Sergeant’s Mail set – undoubtedly the strongest Heavy Attack set in the game in terms of raw damage output. Remember that this effect has a stacking mechanic and you must maintain all 4 stacks to receive the highest damage.
The Oakensoul Ring is the new go-to Mythic Item that packs a punch for one bar builds, delivering many powerful Major and Minor buffs, and in this case the Heavy Attack buff “Empower.”
With only one gear piece left over, it makes the most sense to run a 1-piece monster set bonus here. My favorite option is the Slimecraw set, as it gives a sizable bonus to Critical Chance.

Alternative Sets
For alternatives, Permafrost is a very interesting defensive set that increases our health recovery by a massive amount while we have a damage shield skill active. This fits the Magicka Sorcerer very well because we have the strongest damage shield in the game (Hardened Ward), and also have a passive boost to our health recovery through the Sorcerer class passives.
For an alternate Mythic option, or if you prefer to not be limited to one skill bar, players can use the Gaze Of Sithis. The extra armor, health, and health recovery available from this Mythic Item perfectly fit the theme of this build and make it even stronger! I definitely recommend picking this up if possible.
You may also consider a more defensive set like Iceheart for even greater survivability plus some decent damage.

My favorite race for this build is Khajiit due to their passive Health Recovery bonus. Other great options include High Elf thanks to the extra spell damage, max magicka, and Spell Recharge passive.

Rotation
Start by casting Summon Volatile Familiar, then Mystic Orb. Follow this up with Unstable Wall Of Elements, then Heavy Attack as you recast each skill when it expires. If you are taking damage, just remember to cast Hardened Ward to protect yourself and give your Health Recovery time to heal you back up!
