The ATRONACH is a Solo Magicka Warden build for ESO designed to easily solo some of the most challenging content in the game! This build uses Heavy Armor that also damages enemies in a large radius while blocking, turning our defense into offense!
Primary Sets
The Frozen Watcher set is an amazing option for the Magicka Warden specifically as it procs free AOE Frost Damage every time we block. So not only can this build sustain great defense but it can also do great passive damage at the same time!
Order’s Wrath is a strong, easily crafted set that will increase our overall Critical Chance as well as Critical Damage.
To make this build even more powerful the Sea-Serpent’s Coil Mythic is recommended which both increases our damage and defense.
Finally, any one-piece Monster Set will round out this build. I prefer Slimecraw for the extra Critical Chance.

And if you don’t have access to Mythic Items, running a full monster set like Iceheart will be a nice replacement.

Companions
If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build for the Warden is both fairly tanky and also GREAT at self-healing, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a Ranged Damage approach for them. I recommend Mirri Elendis for Companion on this build with the setup below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.
Recommended Gear
- All Medium Armor – Aggressive Trait
- Companion Bow
Recommended Skills
- 1. Starfall

Additional Skills
The skills below may also be helpful in other situations.

Featured: DEADSHOT
The DEADSHOT Build is an easy Bow DPS Set Up for Mirri Elendis, one of the new Companions available to ESO players starting in the Blackwood Chapter. The theme of this build is focused on maxing our Mirri’s Ranged Damage as much as possible! The fact that Mirri’s Ultimate skill is also a Bow-type ability makes her perfect for this build, though it can work on Bastian too with some tweaks.
