Category: Best ESO Builds, Best Sorcerer Builds, Solo Builds
The BLADE STORM Build is a Solo Stamina Sorcerer build for ESO that utilizes powerful summoned creatures AND weapons to do your bidding! Amazing damage, survivability and healing for solo and group play.
Primary Sets
Aegis Caller provides both amazing damage and a fun thematic feel for the build. This set summons a literal Air Atronach to fight for you!
New Moon Acolyte ramps up the damage even further with tons of great stats for the Stamina Sorcerer including Weapon Critical and Physical Penetration.
Finally, Shadowrend provides a debuff that the Sorcerer class does not have in Minor Main, plus it adds to our summoned army!
Aegis Caller
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items) When you deal critical melee damage, summon a Lesser Aegis for 11 seconds. After 2.5 seconds, the Lesser Aegis spins its blades, dealing 3730 Bleed Damage every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 12 seconds.

LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(5 items) Adds 401 Weapon and Spell Damage. Increases the cost of your active abilities by 5%.

Shadowrend
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(1 item) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(2 items) When you take damage, you have a 15% chance to summon a shadowy Clannfear for 15 seconds. The Clannfear’s basic attacks deal 3440 Magic Damage and apply Minor Maim to any enemy hit for 3 seconds, reducing their damage done by 5%. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.
Alternative Sets
Both Aegis Caller and New Moon Acolyte can be challenging to get (or craft, in the case of NMA), so you can replace these with more generic damage sets including: Briarheart or Spriggan’s Thorns. A standard damage-based monster set like Velidreth or Selene can also be used.

Briarheart
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 450 for 10 seconds. While this effect is active your Critical Strikes heal you for 100 Health. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds and the heal scales off the higher of your Maximum Magicka or Stamina.

Spriggan’s Thorns
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items) Adds 3460 Offensive Penetration

Consumables, Race, Mundus
Race
Redguard is my favorite race for this build because the sustain passives are incredibly strong and sustain is one of the stamina sorcerer’s weakest areas. Orc will provide the best damage overall, plus extra health which is a great bonus – this will be the best option for group play if someone is helping you with sustain. For more details on all ESO Races and passive bonuses be sure to check out our Full ESO Race Guide.
Mundus

Companions
If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build will benefit the most from the additional healing and defensive options a tank-focused Companion can offer, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a full tank build for them. I recommend Bastian Hallix for Companion on this build with the setup below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.
Recommended Gear
- All Heavy Armor – Mixed Vigorous and Quickened Traits
- One Handed Weapon and Shield
Recommended Skills
1. Provoke
3. Kindle
4. On Guard
6 ULT. Unleashed Rage
Additional Skills
The skills below may also be helpful in other situations such as trash pulls.
Full Companion Build: GUARDIAN DRAKE
The Guardian Drake is a strong option for Bastian Hallix as a Tank. Bastian is one of the new Companions available to ESO players starting in the Blackwood Chapter. The theme of this build is focused around Self-Healing and Survival, allowing Bastian to keep himself alive against many tough opponents and even bosses with very little help from others.

Champion Points
Below you will find the recommended Active and Passive Champion Point Stars for this build, broken down into 300, 600, 900, and 1200 CP ranges.
