The MERCILESS Stamina Templar PVP Build is an easy to start with Beginner focused set up for Battlegrounds and Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls Online. The Stamina Templar has amazing versatility, making it one of my favorite classes for PVP in ESO. Damage, Healing, Defense, Sustain – we have it all! Not to mention this build works extremely well at any level, even under level 50!

Templar Class Overview
The Templar Class is an extremely powerful way to play in The Elder Scrolls Online. Templars have powerful Class Skill lines great for DPS, Healing, Tanking, and playing Solo. Templars are a great choice for any build due to their many great damage and defensive options.

Primary Sets
A great beginner set for Stamina-focused PVP builds which can be obtained very early in the game is called Spriggan’s Thorns from the zone of Bangkorai. Even at a low level, you can usually follow groups around the zone doing Dolmens and World Bosses until you get 3 pieces of jewelry and a weapon or some body pieces.
Adding a second damage-focused set like Briarheart which gives you even more weapon damage whenever you do a Critical Strike will make this build even stronger when it comes to quickly bursting down targets. The fact that this set procs when you do Critical Damage also synergizes well with our main gap closer on this build, Critical Rush.

(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 450 for 10 seconds. While this effect is active your Critical Strikes heal you for 100 Health. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds and the heal scales off the higher of your Maximum Magicka or Stamina.
Advanced Sets
For alternatives, I also recommend the Sheer Venom set as this can be easily applied if using Poison Injection on a backbar bow. Another strong option, especially if you focus on AOE skills and morphs will be Dagon’s Dominion.
If you choose to run a monster set I would recommend something with a defensive focus such as Bloodspawn. Using Arena weapons as a front or backbar option will also add some nice bonus damage to the build. The best options for this include sets like Caustic Arrow and Merciless Charge.
Sheer Venom

(5 items) When you deal damage with an Execute ability you infect the enemy, dealing 6576 Poison Damage over 6 seconds and dealing up to 100% more damage to enemies under 100% Health. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds per target.
Dagon’s Dominion
LVL 50 – CP 160

(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
(5 items) Adds 492 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage to your area of effect abilities.
Bloodspawn
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(1 item) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(2 items) When you take damage, you have a 6% chance to generate 13 Ultimate and increase your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 3731 for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.
Caustic Arrow
LVL 50 – CP 160
SET BONUS
(2 items) Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 330 against targets affected by your Poison Arrow.

Race

Food/Drink Buff
Bewitched Sugar Skulls
Increase Max Health by 4620, Max Stamina and Magicka by 4250, and Health Recovery by 462 for 2 hours.
These effects are scaled based on your level.
