The BEAST MASTER Build is a Powerful Stamina Warden Build for The Elder Scrolls Online that is focused on summoned Pets and Animal Companions! Bring TWO Bears to the battlefield, plus swarming insects and a Gryphon!

Both a Dual Wield version and a Two-Handed version of this build are provided.

Primary Sets

The Deadly Strike set provides a TON of damage for this build as we use primarily DOTs and Channeled Abilities.

The Gryphon’s Reprisal Set also provides a lot of additional Critical Chance, Penetration and bonus damage over time.

Finally, Selene is one of the hardest-hitting Monster Sets in the game, while also fitting into our animal-themed build.

Though not completely necessary, the Maelstrom Bow will also help increase the overall DPS of this build.

Deadly Strike

(5 items) Increase the damage your Damage Over Time and Channeled Abilities do by 15%.

Gryphon’s Reprisal

LVL 50 – CP 160

SET BONUS
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you or an ally can activate Gryphon’s Reprisal on the enemy for 8 seconds, causing a small gryphon to fly by and deal 14137 Bleed Damage over 10 seconds to enemies within 5 meters. This synergy can be applied once every 20 seconds and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage.

Selene

LVL 50 – CP 160

SET BONUS
(1 item) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(2 items) When you deal melee damage, you have a 15% chance to call on a primal spirit that mauls the closest enemy in front of you after 1.3 seconds for 13364 Physical Damage. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.

Thunderous Volley

LVL 50 – CP 160

SET BONUS
(2 items) Increases the damage Volley deals by 430 each tick. This bonus increases by 143 every time Volley ticks, up to a maximum of 8 times.

Alternative Sets

The Gryphon’s Reprisal set on this build can be replaced with other damage-focused sets including New Moon Acolyte or Spriggan’s Thorns. Other good alternative Monster Sets to Selene include Velidreth and Sellistrix.

Sellistrix

(2 items) When you deal damage you create an earthquake under the enemy that erupts after 1.5 seconds, dealing 6836 Physical Damage to all enemies within 4 meters and stunning them for 3 seconds. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds.

Race

I recommend Imperial for this build as it includes a nice mix of Stamina, Health and cost reduction. For more defense, Nord is a great option, while you could also get more damage using Orc or Khajiit. Replace Bloodthirst with Carve.

Notes

Make sure to light attack between each ability to proc the healing from Lotus Blossom. Replace Bloodthirst or Carve with Eternal Guardian when ready.

If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build will benefit the most from the additional healing and defensive options a tank-focused Companion can offer, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a full tank build for them. The Guardian Drake is a strong option for Bastian Hallix as a Tank. Bastian is one of the new Companions available to ESO players starting in the Blackwood Chapter.
