Enshrouded Skill Tree Changes For Update 8
In Update 8, many new skills have been added to the Enshrouded skill trees. The most impactful changes revolve around the new weapons and tools specialization skills, which were added, as well as new options to boost the maximum available health and a skill that allows choosing your dodging mode. Double Jump has been moved to the center tree for easy access on any build, and the skill tree can now also be zoomed out for a better overview. At the same time, the visuals have been updated.
Many skills can now be upgraded once they have been unlocked. This opens up more possibilities to optimize builds and invest skill points where it really matters. At the same time, this also allows players to reach the outer branches of the tree faster, as the base unlocking of skills now costs fewer skill points than previously.
Enshrouded Skill Tree Overview
The skill trees in Enshrouded are divided into 12 paths that circle a central hub of general survival skills. Each path is color-coded to match a specific playstyle: blue for magic users like Wizards and Healers, red for melee fighters like Warriors and Barbarians, and green for ranged specialists like Rangers and Assassins. As you earn skill points by leveling up or finding hidden Shroud Roots, you can follow these paths to unlock powerful new moves, better stats, and unique ways to move around the world.
What makes this system special is that you aren’t locked into just one role. You can mix and match skills from any tree to create a custom build, like a Battlemage who uses a shield or a Survivor who is great with a bow. The game also lets you reset all your points at a Flame Altar for a very small cost. This means you can experiment with different powers whenever you want until you find the perfect set of skills for your adventure.
