Here is everything you need to know about Adventure Sharing, a new and exciting feature arriving in Enshrouded’s latest update, Forging the Path, on April 21, 2026.

Enshrouded Adventure Sharing Overview
Enshrouded has been well known for its flexible building system since the game launched into Early Access. The game’s building community has quickly grown into something special and has already pushed the limits on Enshrouded’s world. Creations like racetracks, mazes, obstacle courses, player-made dungeons and more have tested the limits of the game.
The problem was that the Enshrouded’s save system was not built for easy sharing. Players were going to enormous lengths just to show their work to others outside their friend group. Keen Games saw that and decided to make sharing an integral part of the game itself implementing this long requested feature in its upcoming updates.
That is the origin of Adventure Sharing. Developer Keen Games latest Enshrouded Update solves this issue, letting you find new places to explore and play in, created and uploaded by other players in the Enshrouded community. Update 8, the latest Enshrouded update, brings the first version of this feature, with more depth planned between now and the full 1.0 release in Autumn 2026. With this, Enshrouded is poised to not only be one of the top Survival Games in its genre, but also an amazing playground for builders.
Quick Summary: Enshrouded Update 8: Forging The Path and Adventure Sharing launches with Update 8 on April 21, 2026. In this first version you can upload your base and visit other players’ creations as a sightseeing tour. You cannot pick up items, interact with enemies, or earn XP during visits. Curated builds from community favorites and contest winners are available from day one. The entire version, including more complex features and interactive elements like traps, enemies, and rewards are planned for the 1.0 release. Read on for all the juicy details and expect further updates to be explained here in our guide.

What Is Adventure Sharing?
Adventure Sharing is a new in-game system in Enshrouded that lets you upload your world or base so other players can visit it, and browse and visit worlds that others have shared. The goal, as Keen Games puts it, is to let you hop into Enshrouded depending on your mood and find something that feels new and exciting, without having to rely on the main story for fresh content. This biggest update yet is aimed at giving players something fun to do outside of simply grinding.
The variety of what you can find and share is already broad. Go on a sightseeing expedition or explore a grand castle, mountaintop stronghold or cavernous lair built by one of the community’s most talented architects and take some inspiration home for your own castle or hobbit hole. You might want to jump into a mini game and go head to head with friends. Or you might want to tackle a dungeon built from the bottom up by a devious member of the community. Adventure Sharing is the system that makes all of that possible from directly inside the game.
Important note: This version of shared worlds in Enshrouded is still in development and is currently just a stepping stone towards the next major update version 1.0.
How Adventure Sharing Works in Update 8
The first version of Adventure Sharing arriving with Update 8 is focused on base uploads and sightseeing visits. Think of it as the foundation layer. You can share your world and visit others, but this version operates like a read-only experience.
When you visit another player’s creation, you are on a sightseeing tour. You cannot pick up items, interact with enemies, or gain XP. Nothing of consequence happens during a visit in this initial version. Keen Games have described it as “a beach episode of your favorite anime,” a moment to enjoy the scenery and appreciate the work without any gameplay stakes attached. You can’t pick up items, interact with enemies or gain experience. If you attempt to do this, a “Progression Disabled” message will appear as seen below.

This is intentional. The first version of Adventure Sharing is designed to gather player feedback and establish the technical foundation. The more complex and interactive features are being built toward the 1.0 release.
To kick things off right from launch day, Keen Games has asked some of their favorite community creators and contest winners to upload their creations before Update 8 goes live. This means you will have access to high-quality builds and mini games from the moment the feature releases, rather than arriving at an empty library.

How to Visit using Adventure Sharing
Visiting an Adventure is straightforward from within the game. Select the Adventure Sharing game mode from the in game main menu. You will then be presented with adventures uploaded by other players. A full dashboard exists with new and trending builds, as well as creations which are the most popular so you can easily find something to explore. On the next tab over you can also search for specific kinds of player creations using filter tags.
Clicking into any creation will show you its relevant tags as well as any notes the creator wants to leave (build size, hours spent, voxels used, etc) as well as screenshots using the game’s new craftable camera.
The tag and search system is designed to help you find what matches your mood quickly, whether that is architecture, mini games, obstacle courses, or dungeons. There is also an option to entered a Share Code, which allows players to share with others directly without making their adventure public for everyone to see.
Once you find something you want to explore, select whether you are visiting solo or host for friends, and you are ready to go.

How to Upload Your Own Adventure

Sharing your own base or creation is just as simple. From the Adventure Sharing menu, go to the My Uploads tab and select Create New. Choose one of your worlds from the list.
If you have never done this process before, you will also need to create some screenshots for your world using the new Crafted Camera in Enshrouded. Yes, this is literally a tool that you must craft in-game to take screenshots with BEFORE you can list your creation in the Adventure Sharing menu.
To craft a camera in Enshrouded:
Open your workbench, then find the new Camera under the Essential Tools section. You will need the following materials to craft the Camera:
- 1 Metal Scrap
- 2 Wood Logs
This places the camera in your inventory, allowing you to actually enter Photo Mode and take screenshots to display on your Adventure Sharing page.

Once you’ve taken those screenshots for your world, go ahead and log back out to the main menu, select Adventure Sharing, My Uploads, and selected at least one screenshot to start your page. Then you can continue adding tags and a description as well as more screenshots to customize your Adventure Sharing profile.
Once you have filled in the details, click Create and your adventure is live for the community to find and visit.
Pro Tip: Copy the Share Code for your world to more easily share your creation online, via Discord, etc., so users don’t need to search through the entire list for you.

What Is Coming to Adventure Sharing After Update 8
The version arriving with Update 8 is explicitly the first step. Keen Games has confirmed they are actively building more features for the 1.0 release that will make Adventure Sharing significantly more powerful.
At 1.0, players will be able to create more complex and elaborate adventures using traps, enemies, and rewards. This shifts Adventure Sharing from a sightseeing system into a full on player-curated dungeon builder!
There is also a logic and scripting system in development that Keen Games calls “logic links,” described as accessible scripting that opens up even more possibilities for creators. This is the foundation for things like triggered events, puzzle mechanics, and more interactive designs that go beyond what static building alone can achieve.
Keen Games has been direct about wanting community feedback to shape how this feature develops between Update 8 and 1.0. If you have ideas for what Adventure Sharing should include, they are actively listening via comments, Feature Upvote, and their Discord.
Note: The logic links scripting system and enemy and trap support are planned for the 1.0 release, not Update 8. What launches on April 21 is the base upload and sightseeing version.

The Final Word
Adventure Sharing is one of the most exciting long-term additions Keen Games has introduced to Enshrouded, and the fact that it launches as a foundation with more depth coming makes it worth paying attention to from day one. The community has already proven it builds remarkable things when left to its own devices. Giving that creativity a proper showcase and distribution system changes what Enshrouded can be.
Upload your best creation when Update 8 drops on April 21. Explore the curated launches from contest winners and community favorites on day one. And keep your eye on how the feature evolves between now and the 1.0 release in Autumn 2026, because the addition of traps, enemies, rewards, and logic links will transform this from a gallery into a full player-made content platform.
Enshrouded Adventure Sharing FAQ
1. Can you earn XP or loot items during an Adventure Sharing visit?
No. In the first version of Adventure Sharing launching with Update 8, visits are purely for sightseeing. You cannot pick up items, interact with enemies, or gain XP during a visit. Nothing that would affect your character’s progression can happen in this initial version. This is intentional design to keep the feature consequence-free while the foundation is established.
2. How do you take screenshots for your Adventure Sharing upload?
Screenshots for Adventure Sharing uploads are taken using the new camera item added in Update 8. This is a dedicated in-game item rather than a screenshot key, so make sure you have it in your inventory before you set up your upload. Screenshots are displayed in the Adventure Sharing browser and are the main way other players will judge whether your creation is worth visiting.
3. Can you visit Adventure Sharing creations with friends?
Yes. When you select an adventure to visit, you choose between playing solo or hosting the visit for friends. Hosting means your friends can join you in the sightseeing experience, making it a multiplayer activity even though no gameplay stakes are involved.
4. Will there be player-made dungeons and challenges in Adventure Sharing?
Not in Update 8. The first version is limited to base uploads and sightseeing visits. Traps, enemies, and rewards are all planned for the 1.0 release, along with a logic links scripting system that will enable more complex interactive designs. The full challenge-creation potential of Adventure Sharing is a 1.0 feature, but the community builds going live on April 21 will give you a strong preview of the variety of content the system can surface.
5. Will Adventure Sharing be available at the 1.0 launch on consoles?
Yes. Enshrouded’s 1.0 release in Autumn 2026 will bring the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S for the first time, and Adventure Sharing is a core system that will be present at launch. By the time consoles arrive, Adventure Sharing will already have the additional features developed between Update 8 and 1.0, including traps, enemies, rewards, and the logic links system, giving console players access to the more fully developed version of the feature from day one.
