Enshrouded wands are your go-to ranged casting tools, and they’re built around a mix of raw damage, elemental bonuses, and mana management. Every wand has base damage that scales with your attributes, plus many have an elemental damage type stacked on that changes how your hits interact with enemy weaknesses.
Wands have three primary advantages for combat in Enshrouded.
- Wands don’t consume mana or stamina, so you can fire endlessly and keep pressure on enemies without worrying about resource crashes.
- Wand attacks can easily track targets, which makes them far more forgiving than bows when you’re moving or fighting in tight spaces. Unlike bows, wands do not require ammo, making them more convenient for sustained ranged attacks.
- Most players treat wands as efficient sustained damage or ranged safety tools, while staves handle the big burst moments. That mix is exactly why wands feel strong from the early game all the way into high-level builds.
Compared to bows, which rely on arrows and require careful resource management, wands offer uninterrupted casting and greater convenience for mage characters. Using wands is not only effective but also fun, thanks to their unique wand attack animation and the feeling of wielding powerful weapons from a distance. At the moment, some of the most powerful wands are among the rarest drops in the game.

Enshrouded Wands Explained
Enshrouded wands are a cornerstone of any magic-focused build, offering players a reliable ranged weapon that deals consistent magic damage to enemies. Unlike melee weapons, wands allow you to cast spells from a safe distance, making them especially valuable in the early game when close combat can be risky. Each wand comes with its own unique features and abilities, letting you tailor your playstyle to the challenges ahead.
Standout options like the Ritual Tempest Wand and Blazing Wand are known for their high damage output and special elemental effects, setting them apart as some of the best wands in the game. Whether you’re looking to melt foes with fire, shock them with lightning, or freeze them in their tracks, wands provide the versatility and power needed to tackle all the enemies you’ll encounter. With the right Wand Build, you can unleash a barrage of spells and abilities, making every attack count and ensuring your place as a formidable force in Enshrouded.
Crafting an Apprentice Wand is a great early game option due to its accessibility and reliability, while Helix and Twisting Wine wands deal shroud damage, which is especially effective against certain enemies.
Early Game Progression
Starting out in Enshrouded, your first wand can make a huge difference in surviving early encounters. The Apprentice Wand is an excellent entry-level choice, offering reliable ice damage to slow down enemies and give you breathing room. As you progress, keep an eye out for upgrades like the Scorching Wand, which introduces fire damage for even greater effectiveness against certain foes. To get the most out of your wand, invest your skill points in intelligence and magic damage – these stats directly boost your spell power and overall damage output.
Don’t forget to upgrade your gear as you acquire new items, focusing on pieces that enhance your magic and fire capabilities. A strong shield is another essential component of the wand build, allowing you to deflect incoming damage which will be even more important at mid game and end game as enemies hit much harder.
Enshrouded Wand Stats Explained
Wands in Enshrouded are more than simple ranged weapons. They scale with both raw damage and your supporting attributes, so understanding how each stat works will help you tune your build for either burst or sustained casting.
Damage
Wand damage is made of two parts. You have the base damage printed on the wand, and the elemental damage attached to it. Base damage is your consistent hit that scales with your attribute choices. Elemental damage is layered on top and determines how the hit interacts with enemy weaknesses and resistances. Fire melts Shroud creatures, frost slows aggressive targets, and lightning hits harder on clustered enemies. If you want predictable output, lean into high base damage. If you want specialized bursts, match the element to the zone.
Mana Regen
This is how quickly your mana bar fills while you cast or kite. Higher mana regen lets you stay offensive longer without dropping into empty casts. It also lets you run more aggressive skill rotations since you recover enough mana between volleys to stay mobile and avoid downtime. Any build that focuses on rapid-fire casting or staff use needs a solid mana regen floor to feel good.
Overcharge
Overcharge rewards steady casting in Enshrouded. Every hit builds a small amount of overcharge, and once you reach the threshold, your next wand attack fires at boosted damage. Think of it as a mini damage cycle that resets often.
Attack Speed
Attack speed determines your basic rate of attack in Enshrouded. Faster attack speed means smoother gameplay, more overcharge uptime, and more chances to apply perk effects. It also makes elemental wands feel significantly better because your procs happen more often. Currently all wands in Enshrouded have the same attack speed of 0.6 seconds.
Perks
Wands benefit from a range of perk effects that deepen their build identity. The best perks amplify your chosen element or give you bonuses to raw damage or critical chance. When perked correctly, a wand can flip from a basic caster tool to a DPS machine!

Enshrouded Wand Weapon Perks List
The following weapon bonuses are available for Wands in Enshrouded:
- Fire Magic Damage – Adds 10% of Base weapon damage in Fire Damage
- Ice Magic Damage – Adds 10% of Base weapon damage in Ice Damage
- Shock Magic Damage – Adds 10% of Base weapon damage in Shock Damage
- Shroud Magic Damage – Adds 10% of Base weapon damage in Shroud damage
- Ice Armor – Reduces damage taken by Ice damage
- Fire Armor – Reduces damage taken by Fire damage
- Shock Armor – Reduces damage taken by Shock damage
- Shroud Armor – Reduces damage taken by Shroud damage
- Brutal – Increases critical hit damage
- Precise – Increases critical hit chance
- Renewal – Defeat an enemy to restore durability
- Mana Leech – On Hit Leech 5% Damage as Mana
- Spiritual – Increases Mana Regeneration
Consumables and Buffs
Consumables and buffs are essential for any effective wand build in Enshrouded. Potions like Elixir can dramatically increase your damage output and speed up mana regeneration, ensuring you never run out of resources during intense battles. Food buffs, such as Roasted Azure Russula, provide a significant boost to your magic damage, making each spell hit even harder.
Some of the best skills for a Wand Build include Water Aura and Waters of Life, which can help you sustain your health and mana while you play. For example, pairing the Frozen Core Wand with a Prayer of the Flame Scroll can amplify your fire damage, allowing you to deal as much damage as possible to all the enemies in your path. Mixing in Wizard abilities and Eternal Spells like Ice Bolt will help supplement your build with AOE damage, though watch out for extended cast times.
The best wand builds combine these consumables, buffs, and skills to maximize both survivability and offensive power, turning your wand into the best bet for dominating every encounter.
Gems
Enhancing your wand with the right gems can take your damage output to the next level. Gems like the Gem of Burning are perfect for adding massive fire damage, which many enemies including the Fell are weak against. For more AOE damage potential consider slotting the Gem of Storm’s Eye and for a pure shock build the Gem of Currents.
