Have you ever wished you could save your character’s Attributes, Equipped Gear, Skills and Morphs and Champion Points so that you could quickly switch between builds? Well, with the new Armory System for The Elder Scrolls Online, that dream has finally become reality! Update 32 is Introducing The Armory Station, a new base game system which allows players to save, customize, and load builds, all from the comfort of their own house or via an Armory Assistant.
What Is The Armory System?
The Armory System in The Elder Scrolls Online allows players to save their own customized Builds to the Armory Station, a new FREE furnishing item that can be added to player housing. Builds that can be saved to the Armory include nearly everything that makes a character unique in ESO, including Attributes, Equipped Gear, Skills, Morphs, Champion Points and more!
How To Access The Armory In ESO
The Armory is a new base game feature added to The Elder Scrolls Online in Update 32. This update is free for all players. To get started, players will need to purchase the free Armory Station Furnishing from the Crown Store, then place this item into a player house. Players will then be able to use the Armory Furnishing to switch out their build quickly and easily any time they are in that house. Players can also make use of the Armory Assistant, purchased through the Crown Store to access the Armory while outside of a player home.

How Many Builds Can Be Saved To The Armory?
Players will have two slots free per character at the Armory Station to start with in order to save and load their customized builds. Eight additional Build Slots can be purchased via the Crown Store for a maximum of 10 Armory Slots. Your Total Armory Slots are not shared among characters, meaning that if you have 3 Total Armory Slots (2 by Default, 1 extra purchased), each of your characters will have 3 open Armory Slots.
What Makes An Armory Build?
Builds saved or loaded through the Armory Station can include:
- Build Name
- Build Icon
- Attribute Points: Stamina, Magicka and Health
- Equipped Armor and Weapons
- Quick Slot Items (Potions, Food, etc.)
- Poisons
- Skills, Morphs and Passives
- Passive and Slotted Champion Point Stars
- Outfit
- Curses: Vampire or Werewolf Status
Many of these characteristics are displayed directly in the Armory Menu, while other characteristics such as Quick Slot Items and Passive Skills are not shown in the Armory UI but will still be saved regardless.
Armory Station Costs
The Armory Station is a free Furnishing Item for all players that can be bought in the Crown Store under the Furniture tab, in the Special Section.

Purchasing Additional Armory Slots
Players can currently purchase 8 more Armory Slots for a total of 10 Slots per account. The cost of one additional Armory Slot is 1500 Crowns.

Armory Station Build Names And Icons
Players can name their Build at the Armory Station with a custom name of their choosing as well as select an icon that represents that build. These icons include the usual ESO style icons for Group Roles (Tank, Healer, DPS), ESO Classes, and even quite a few new icons.

The Armory Assistant
To go along with the new Armory Station feature, The Elder Scrolls Online will also be introducing an Armory Station Assistant, similar to the Banker and Merchant which already exist in the game. When purchased from the Crown Store, this Assistant will allow players to access their Armory Station from almost anywhere in the world of Tamriel, with a few exceptions.
Players cannot access the Armory Assistant in PVE Trials and Arenas where a leaderboard exists or in PVP zones including Cyrodiil, Imperial City, or Battlegrounds.
Allies can also use your Armory Assistant when he is summoned.
The Armory Assistant costs 5000 Crowns and can be found in the Assistants tab of the Crown Store.

Limitations To The ESO Armory System
In order for the Armory System to work correctly and equip the correct items to your saved build, those items must be in your character’s inventory – not in your bank or other storage. Items that are NOT in your inventory when you try to load a build will be skipped over and shown in RED on your character build page as shown below.

Mundus Stones and The ESO Armory Station
Currently, Mundus Stones are not saved as part of The Armory System in The Elder Scrolls Online. You will need to swap out your Mundus to complete your build if it includes a different Mundus Stone option.
