What Are Class Sets in ESO?
Class Sets in ESO are 5-piece sets that can only be worn by one specific class. Each Class Set buffs one particular class skill line. For example, the Nightblade Class Set, called Soulcleaver, buffs the Nightblade Siphoning skill line.
Each class in The Elder Scrolls Online has one Class Set currently. You can find more details on each set below.
ESO Dragonknight Class Set
The class set for Dragonknights in ESO is called Basalt-Blooded Warrior. This set improves on the Dragonknight’s Earthen Heart abilities by giving you additional buffs when any skill from that skill line is cast.

(5 items) Casting an Earthen Heart ability grants you a Rock Stance for 10 seconds. While on your Primary Weapon you gain Molten Stance, granting you Major Heroism, generating 3 Ultimate every 1.5 seconds. While you are on your Secondary Weapon you gain Obsidian Stance, increasing your Healing Done and damage shields by 14%. Bar Swapping will swap your Stance automatically.
ESO Nightblade Class Set
The class set for Nightblades in ESO is called Soulcleaver. This set improves on the Nightblade’s Siphoning abilities by increasing their damage and healing while also reducing their cost.

(5 items) While in combat and with at least 20 Ultimate, strengthens your non-Ultimate Siphoning abilities at the cost of Ultimate: Increases the damage and healing of non-Ultimate Siphoning abilities by 17% of your current Ultimate, up to 200, from a minimum of 3% to a maximum of 34%. Reduces the cost of Siphoning abilities by 15%. Casting Siphoning abilities drains you of 1% of your current Ultimate, with a minimum of 1.
ESO Sorcerer Class Set
The class set for Sorcerers in ESO is called Monolith of Storms. This set improves on the Sorcerer’s Storm Calling abilities by placing monoliths on the ground which do additional damage over time.

(5 items) Dealing damage with a Storm Calling ability’s initial hit or every 5th tick creates a Monolith near the enemy for 10 seconds, up to one every 1 second. You may have up to 3 Monoliths at a time. Monoliths link to your other Monoliths within 28 meters of each other, each link dealing 629 Shock Damage, scaling off of the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage, every 2 seconds to enemies between and near them. An enemy can only take damage from this set once every 2 seconds.
ESO Templar Class Set
The class set for Templars in ESO is called Wrathsun. This set improves on the Templar’s Dawn’s Wrath abilities by increasing your Magicka Recovery, improving the damage of Dawn’s Wrath abilities, and casting an AOE Nova.

(5 items) When you deal damage with a Dawn’s Wrath ability, you gain a stack of Sunlight for 10 seconds, once per attack. You can have 50 stacks max and gain 12 Magicka Recovery per stack. When at max stacks, your Dawn’s Wrath abilities deal 25% bonus damage and a Wrathful Nova is cast on the enemy, but you cannot refresh Sunlight. When Sunlight expires at max stacks, you lose 50% of your current Magicka.
ESO Warden Class Set
The class set for Wardens in ESO is called Gardener Of Seasons. This set improves on the Warden’s Green Balance abilities by placing an effect on the ground which debuffs enemies with Major Maim and buffs allies with Minor Vitality.

(5 items) Casting a Green Balance ability grants you Herald of Spring, causing your Green Balance overheals to apply Minor Heroism for 3 seconds. Casting 2 non-Green Balance class abilities within 2 seconds consumes Herald of Spring and gives you Harbinger of Fall for 10 seconds, causing your Green Balance overheals to create an 8 meter area for 5 seconds, applying Major Maim to enemies and Minor Vitality to allies. You can create an area once every 5 seconds. You cannot gain Herald of Spring while Harbinger of Fall is active.
ESO Necromancer Class Set
The class set for Necromancers in ESO is called Nobility In Decay. This set improves on the Necromancer’s Bone Tyrant abilities by buffing the player with Minor Resolve and Minor Protection while also treating the player as a corpse to benefit other corpse-consuming abilities.

(5 items) Casting a Bone Tyrant ability while in combat grants you Beautiful Corpse, Minor Protection, and Minor Resolve for 16 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 5% and increasing your Armor by 2974. This can occur once every 20 seconds, and is reduced by 2 seconds for each slotted Bone Tyrant ability. Casting a corpse consumer ability consumes Beautiful Corpse, treating you as a corpse.
ESO Arcanist Class Set
The class set for Arcanists in ESO is called Reawakened Hierophant. This set improves on the Arcanist’s Curative Runeforms abilities by applying additional buffs to allies based on how many Crux were available.

(5 items) Casting a non-Ultimate Curative Runeform ability grants an effect for 6 seconds to your affected allies based on how many Crux you had. At 1 Crux, allies gain a damage shield that absorbs 3598 damage. At 2 Crux, allies gain Minor Heroism, granting 1 Ultimate every 1.5 seconds. At 3 Crux, allies gain Major Protection, reducing damage taken by 10%.

Class Sets in The Elder Scrolls Online are rewards for completing Cycles and other challenges in The Endless Archive. Reward Boxes can also be purchased in The Endless Archive which grant random pieces of Class Set gear.
Which Class Sets Are Best in ESO?
While all class sets in ESO are powerful, some class sets are generally more viable for a variety of builds. The Dragonknight’s class set Basalt Warrior is particularly strong as it generates a lot of Ultimate which the Dragonknight can also turn into resources through their class passives.
