Console Mods have arrived for The Elder Scrolls Online! In this tutorial we show you how to get started improving your ESO experience with Add-ons!

What Are ESO Console Mods
Modding has been a large part of the ESO experience since the game was first released for PC, however, up until now, console players had been excluded from modding. As of 2025, ESO players on both Playstation and XBox consoles can now use a variety of ESO mods as well!
ESO Mods, also known as Add-ons, add new features into the game that increase accessibility and improve the user experience such as better maps, better tooltips, skyshard locations and much more.

1. Log into any ESO character on your console account

3. Select Browse Add-Ons to begin viewing the Add-ons list

4. Select the Add-on you want to install from the list. You can read more about it in the right side panel as well as Filter and sort at the top of the list. Select the Add-on you want to install. That’s it!
