Latest Update: May 28, 2026 – Categories: ESO Mythics
The Ring Of The Pale Order is one of the Strongest Mythic Items available in The Elder Scrolls Online. This powerful ring is especially good for Solo Builds as it provides a TON of passive healing, allowing you to focus on dealing damage to your enemies or surviving difficult mechanics without worrying about staying alive! This mythic is not recommended for group content as it will interfere with other players’ ability to heal you.
If you have access to the Antiquities System in ESO this amazing item can be yours with just a few hours of simple farming and in this guide I’ll show you exactly how to get it FAST!

ESO The Ring Of The Pale Order Overview
The Ring Of The Pale Order is all about SELF healing and is therefore focused primarily on Solo Gameplay in The Elder Scrolls Online. If you examine the description of this Mythic Item closely you will see why: grouping with other players reduces the healing the ring does to you AND while equipped other players CANNOT Heal YOU!
Using the Ring Of The Pale Order is NOT recommended when grouped with others, as it can be especially frustrating for anyone trying to heal you.

Bleak heraldry covers the surface of this knightly signet. Those who place it on their finger feel a cold rush of power … and a deep, nagging paranoia.
The Ring Of The Pale Order is a powerful Mythic Item that is a fantastic option for Solo Builds in ESO.
How to Get The Pale Order Ring Mythic
To get The Ring Of The Pale Order, you will need to discover 5 fragments requiring leads. These five leads need to be dug up as part of the Antiquities system, therefore, you will need the Greymoor Chapter or ESO+. Once unlocked, you must level your antiquity skill lines to level 7, specifically the Excavation skill line. Once done, you can unlock “gold leads” and thus begin hunting your overpowered amulet!
To get any of the five fragments of the Ring Of The Pale Order Mythic, first obtain the five leads listed below, then, once you have all the leads, make sure you are in the zone of Markarth. Next, open your Antiquities Codex to select the correct Lead and Scry for its location. Once at the correct excavation site, you will be able to Excavate the Lead. Keep in mind that Leads for Mythic Items have a Master Difficulty and need to be carefully excavated from the dig site.
Once you have Excavated all 5 Mythic Fragments, The Ring Of The Pale Order will be automatically placed into your inventory.
Ring Of The Pale Order Lead Locations
The Ring Of The Pale Order is a Mythic Item that requires 5 gold quality leads. The ESO Pale Order Ring leads are:
- Aurmine Ancestral Signet – found in random treasure chests in the Bangkorai zone
- Direnni Elegy Loop – randomly dropped from the Delve Boss in Coldrock Diggings, Alik’r Desert zone
- Onyx Accent Stones – randomly dropped from World Bosses in the Wrothgar zone (requires Orsinium DLC)
- Order-Etched Gallery Rail – randomly dropped from enemies in Bad Man’s Hallow public dungeon, Glenumbra zone. Defeat mobs quickly to improve drop chance.
- Pale Order’s Golden Band – found in Nighthollow Keep on a table (requires Markarth DLC)
More details on where to find each lead can be found below.
1. Aurmine Ancestral Signet Lead
The Aurmine Ancestral Signet Lead for the Ring Of The Pale Order can be found inside random Treasure Chests throughout the zone of Bangkorai.
Any Treasure Chest can drop this Lead so your goal is to find an area of the zone that has as many chests as possible and farm them consistently and quickly. My favorite chest farming area in Bangkorai is the castle ruins just south of the Veridian Woods wayshrine near the Eastern edge of the map. You can make a quick loop here that includes 10-15 chests in a relatively compact area to make quick work of this Lead.

2. Direnni Elegy Loop Lead
The Direnni Elegy Loop Lead for the Ring Of The Pale Order drops from the Delve Boss in Coldrock Diggings, located in the zone of Alik’r Desert.
This Mythic Lead is extremely easy to get but keep in mind that the Delve Boss does not have a 100 percent drop rate. It took me about 5 kills of the boss to get this lead with a respawn time of 4-5 minutes between each. You can simply stand near the spawn and wait for the boss to respawn until you get the Lead.

3. Onyx Accent Stones Lead
The Onyx Accent Stones Lead randomly drops from World Bosses in the zone of Wrothgar. This Lead requires the Orsinium DLC.
This may be the most challenging to obtain if you are lower level as the World Bosses located in Wrothgar are slightly more difficult than base game World Bosses. A great strategy is to bring a small group or a Companion Support build to help keep you alive.
I recommend farming the 3 bosses on the Eastern side of Wrothgar as these are easier compared to the rest. There are also a few wayshrines in between which will let you easily go from one boss to another without wasting too much time traveling in between.

4. Order-Etched Gallery Rail Lead
The Order-Etched Gallery Rail Lead randomly drops from enemies in the Bad Man’s Hollows public dungeon, located in the zone of Glenumbra.
This Lead seems to have the lowest or rarest drop rate of all the Ring Of The Pale Order’s required Leads. Many players report spending hours farming the basic enemies in this zone, however I was lucky enough to get the drop in about 30 minutes. The key here is to kill enemies as quickly as possible then sprint to the next spawn area and repeat. Any type of enemy in the zone can drop this Lead – good luck!

5. Pale Order’s Golden Band Lead
The Pale Order’s Golden Band lead can be found in Nighthollow Keep, a notable location found underneath the zone of The Reach. This Mythic Lead requires the Markarth DLC.
To obtain this Mythic Lead you will first need to travel to the zone of The Reach, then take one of the lifts available in the zone to reach the underground area. From there travel East until you reach Nighthollow Keep. The Pale Order’s Golden Band Lead can be found on a table in the middle of the Keep. Simply read the “Ancient Text” to receive the Lead.
Note that if the Ancient Text is not visible on the table this means someone has already obtained the Lead and you will need to wait a few minutes for it to respawn.

Scrying And Excavating The Ring Of The Pale Order
To get any of the 5 fragments of The Ring Of The Pale Order make sure you are in the same zone as where the Lead was obtained, then open your Antiquities Codex to select the correct Lead and Scrye for its location. Once at the correct location, you will be able to Excavate the Lead.
Once you have Excavated all 5 Mythic Fragments the Ring Of The Pale Order will be automatically placed into your inventory.
