- Damage: 40 Corrosive
- Description: Fires a spray of extremely volatile goo at short range, dealing corrosive damage. Corpses hit will melt away, preventing others from finding them and acting accordingly.
- Energy Cost: 40
- Flavor Text: Do NOT eat this liquid. Please dispose of any targeted acidic remains in a safe manner. Do NOT eat the remains.
The Auntieās Acidic Dematerializer is a perfect gadget for stealth builds who want to destroy a coprse before it’s found. Simply kill an enemy in stealth, fire a spray at thier body, and watch it disppear. Even if you’re not a stealth build or player, certain instances where it’s best to remove a body this could be useful. However, this gadget won’t be useful in combat as a practical gun or weapon. Therefore, take advantage of Auntieās Acidic Dematerializer in those rogue and assassin type of builds.
Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus

- Shield Amount: 350
- Description: Grants a temporary shield when activated, providing temporary health that absorbs any incoming damage. Also repels Zyranium and other dangerous hazards.
- Warning: Does not protect against significant falls!
- Energy Cost: 70
- Flavor Text: This model finally fixed the design flaw that caused user asphyxiation. Thirty-seventh timeās the charm!
The ultimate tank and survivability gadget is the Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus. You get a temporary shield that absorbs health and it’s also useful for avoiding hazards like Zyranium. Zyranium can be left over from bots, and in close quarters, end your life quickly.
Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus energy cost is very high at 70 or so, and thus you won’t be able to use this shield often. However, you can always swap mid-fight or pre-fight when you know incoming damage is likely and use the shield to survive. This gadget will be essential for melee builds or anyone up close and personal.
N-Ray Scanner

- Bonus: +20% Critical Chance
- Description: Allows you to see through walls, showing hostiles, wires, and objects of interest. Also grants bonus critical hit chance in combat while the scanner is active.
- Energy Cost: 4/s
- Flavor Text: Usage of this device outside of research scenarios is strictly prohibited.
The N-Ray Scanner is a verstitle gadget that can be used inside and outside of combat. You can see through walls and it also grants a massive 20% critical chance bonus while it’s active. Therefore, if you don’t need the slow down time effect of Tactical Time Dilation (TTD), this is a burst gadget choice. Therefore, Sniper and Stealth builds should use N-Ray Gadget as their primary gadget unless precison aiming is required.
Tactical Time Dilation Gadget

- Description: Slows down time around you when activated, granting you time to think and act safely. Energy drains while active, draining faster when moving and after each time you use your weapon.
- Energy Cost: 1/s
- Flavor Text: This device will likely only cause minimal brain damage.
TTD was originally in the Outer Worlds 1, and it’s evolved further allowing players to slow down time. While time is slowed, and if you attack during TTD, you will drain your energy. Therefore, you won’t be shooting rapidly or have a long duration of slowed time. However, it’s perfect for sniping, high critical builds, or even an Gunslinger that wants to get the draw on their target. If you’re someone who struggles with shooting and aiming, this is your best gadget.
