Confirmed Action Figure Locations
Anchorpoint Station in the Algorab system is home to five confirmed action figure locations. It is worth exploring the station thoroughly when you first arrive, as several of these require specific actions to access.
1. Rishi Saint’s Quarters
Inside Rishi Saint’s private quarters at the back of Anchorpoint Station, there is an action figure sitting on the shelf next to his bed. This is the most straightforward of the confirmed station locations. Simply find Rishi’s room and check the shelf.
2. The Riddle Chest
One action figure is locked inside a special chest on Anchorpoint Station that can only be opened after finding five keycards hidden around the station. The keycards are scattered throughout Anchorpoint’s various rooms and areas, so thorough exploration is required before this chest becomes accessible. Starting the Riddle Chest quest will give you clues that make the searching easier.
3. Seized Items Container in Security Office
The Anchorpoint Station’s Security office has a locked room with a large chest that can only be accessed by breaking into a nearby computer and opening the door. Some basic lockpicking skill is required to open the computer and unlock the door, but other than that this one is pretty easy. Make sure no one is around as this will get you caught stealing.
4 and 5. Above Maddie’s Engineering Bay
Two action figures are hidden in a vent near the ceiling above Maddie’s engineering bay on Anchorpoint Station. The vent is not immediately obvious from ground level, so look up and scan the ceiling area carefully when you are in that section of the station. Both figures are in the same location, making this a two-for-one find for players who spot it.
Pro Tip: As many Action Figures will need to be stolen you can sell them to vendors and buy them to remove the stolen tag if you are worried about them being confiscated in the future!
Other Action Figure Locations
The five Anchorpoint Station figures are the only confirmed fixed-location spawns we have documented so far. The remaining figures are distributed differently.
Most Colony War Action Heroes are random drops found throughout the Settled Systems. Bethesda has confirmed they can appear on NPCs, in storage containers, in boss chests at the end of dungeons and points of interest, and in other unexpected locations during exploration.
This means the most reliable strategy for finding the remaining figures is thorough exploration, particularly of new dungeons and POIs added in the Free Lanes update. Boss chests at the end of challenging combat encounters have a confirmed chance to contain action figures, so prioritizing difficult locations is more efficient than checking every container on every planet.
Incursion events from the Terran Armada DLC are also worth running repeatedly, as the boss-tier enemies and containers in these encounters have a reasonable chance of containing figures alongside X-Tech and other high-level loot.
How to Display Action Figures
The Free Lanes update adds two new ways to show off your collection at your outpost.
Collector Racks are new buildable display cases that let you show off sealed figures in their packaging. This is the collector-style display option for players who want their figures looking pristine on a shelf.
The Colony Wars Playset is the second option for players who prefer to have their figures in action. Place your unsealed figures into the playset to create a diorama-style display that recreates Colony War battles in miniature. Each figure placed in the playset can be positioned and arranged, making it one of the more creative outpost decorating features in the game.
