Star Wars Zero Company Characters Summary
Zero Company’s field roster has 8 authored operators: Hawks, Trick, Tel-Rea Vokoss, Cly Kullervo, Luco Bronc, Kabb Uppercut, Jae Mordant, and M-3VO. Three base personnel characters, Runa Blask, Bennic Halloren, and Neesh Renark, run operations at the Den. Every story operator except Hawks is subject to permadeath. The main antagonists are Kundri Fathom, Visser, and the ST-series Super Tactical Droid Typhon. Anakin Skywalker appears as a confirmed guest with Matt Lanter reprising his Clone Wars role.
Zero Company Operators
Authored operators are the named story characters who join your squad as the campaign unfolds. They come with fixed backstories, species, voice performances, and their own plot threads that develop or close permanently depending on what happens in the field. You take up to four operators into any mission, and your choices about who deploys together shape which bonds develop and which stories you get to see.
| Name | Species | Class | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hawks | Customized in Character Creation or the Den | Player Defined | Your player character – death results in mission restart |
| Trick | Human (clone) | Heavy | Specializes in the rocket launcher and other heavy weapons |
| Tel-Rea Vokoss | Tognath | Jedi Padawan | Wields two light sabers and can use a Force Push ability |
| Cly Kullervo | Human | Mandalorian | Unique access to the Jet Pack, allowing for fast repositions on the battlefield |
| Luco Bronc | Umbaran | Sharpshooter | Known for his sharp tongue and holding grudges |
| Kabb Uppercut | Felshi | Unknown | Known for his cybernetic arm and Uppercut ability |
| Jae Mordant | Human | Unknown | Special ability is a finishing blow assist |
| M-3VO | Droid | Astromech | Flies the Caisson, Zero Company’s transport ship |

Hawks
Hawks is the player character. A former Galactic Republic officer, Hawks was disgraced before the events of the game and now leads Zero Company as a mercenary outfit operating in the shadows of the Clone Wars. Players choose Hawks’ species, gender, voice, name, appearance, and starting combat Specialization during character creation, and all of these can be changed later at the Den. Hawks carries a unique command ability that lets them spend Advantage to refresh an Action Point for another operator once per turn, making them a force multiplier regardless of which class they are built around and helping create stronger combat synergies between deployed operators.
Jonathan Freeman voices the masculine version of Hawks and Erica Luttrell, known for Star Wars: Squadrons and Steven Universe, voices the feminine version.

Trick
Trick is a clone trooper and the longest-serving member of Zero Company. He and Hawks have history together, and he represents the most dependable frontline presence in the early squad before other operators come aboard. Trick defaults to the Heavy Specialization, reflecting his role as the squad’s anchor and part of its forward pressure on the battlefield. He has a tense and complicated relationship with Luco Bronc, with a streak of laconic wit that reinforces his emotional distance, rooted in the Battle of Umbara, one of the most brutal engagements of the Clone Wars and a point of deep friction between clone troopers and Umbaran forces. That bond, and the conflict behind it, can develop in the field if you choose to deploy both operators together.
Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of the entire Clone Army in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, reprises clone trooper duty here.

Tel-Rea Vokoss
Tel-Rea Vokoss is a Tognath Jedi Padawan who lost her master before joining Zero Company. She is calm and disciplined, driven to honor the memory of the Jedi she trained under. Tel-Rea carries the only Exotic class in the game that cannot be changed under any circumstances. Her Jedi Padawan Specialization is hers permanently, which means she operates entirely differently from any other operator in your squad. One of her confirmed abilities is a Force Push that costs 6 Advantage and knocks all nearby enemies away from her, which the developers have highlighted as a strong setup tool when combined with squadmates positioned in Overwatch. Tel-Rea’s tactical abilities give the squad more ways to control enemy positioning and set up follow-up attacks.
If Tel-Rea dies in the campaign, the Jedi Padawan class and her story thread are both gone for that run. Nicole Rainteau voices her.

Cly Kullervo
The infamous Cly Kullervo is one of the last surviving members of the ancient Clan Verminoth. She joins Zero Company purely to further her implacable quest for revenge.
Cly Kullervo is a Mandalorian bounty hunter and one of the last surviving members of the ancient Clan Verminoth. She joins Zero Company not out of idealism but out of a single-minded drive for revenge, and Zero Company’s resources happen to give her the best shot at achieving it. Cly holds the Mandalorian Exotic class, which reflects her jetpack-equipped, mobile combat style, and she is the only operator in the game who can wear Mandalorian armor cosmetics. Her class is also an Exotic, meaning it cannot be assigned to custom recruits.
Alex McKenna, best known as Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2, voices Cly.

Luco Bronc
Luco Bronc is an Umbaran who fought to defend Umbara, his home world during the Republic invasion and never forgave them for it. He has no love for the Republic and makes that clear, but he is willing to set the conflict aside to work with Zero Company against the Infinite Coil. His relationship with Trick, a clone who fought at Umbara on the other side, is one of the sharpest ideological tensions in the roster. Deploying the two together repeatedly can develop that conflict into something more nuanced, or not, depending on player choices.
Luco defaults to the Sharpshooter Specialization, fitting his role as a ranged precision operator. Jason Spisak, known for his work in Arcane, voices him.

Kabb Uppercut
Kabbney “Kabb” Uppercut is a Felshi veteran prizefighter and ex-convict who brings brute force and a cybernetically enhanced arm to the squad. He is a close-range specialist whose confirmed abilities include an Uppercut move that can knock enemies out of cover, which the developers have flagged as a strong setup for squadmates positioned in Overwatch. Kabb is one of the four operators confirmed to appear in Zero Company’s opening mission alongside Hawks, Trick, and Jae Mordant.
JB Blanc, known for Arcane, voices him.

Jae Mordant
Jae Mordant is a former ore-baroness born into the ruthless noble House Mordant of Shu-Torun. She left her family behind to build her own mining citadel on Luunata, ruling it independently until Kundri Fathom and the Infinite Coil seized the planet for the Separatists. Sophisticated, witty, and driven entirely by the goal of reclaiming what is hers, Jae was instrumental in convincing the Republic to hire Zero Company, and her personal stake in the mission makes her one of the most narratively central characters in the squad. She also appears in the opening mission of the game.
Judy Alice Lee, known for Marvel Rivals and Hades II, voices her.

M-3VO
M-3VO, called Meevo by the squad, is a bipedal utility droid unit who serves as the pilot of the Caisson, Zero Company’s transport ship. Meevo occupies the exotic Astromech class in Zero Company. D.C. Douglas, known for Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, voices Meevo.
Base Personnel
Base personnel are the non-combat characters who run Zero Company’s operations at the Den between missions. They do not deploy into the field but play an active role in the story and provide services that shape your campaign.
| Name | Species | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Runa Blask | Togruta | Operations and Finance |
| Bennic Halloren | Human | Republic Intelligence |
| Neesh Renark | Lasat | Armory and Black Market |
Runa Blask
Runa Blask is Hawks’ right-hand officer at the Den and the person most responsible for keeping Zero Company financially and operationally functional. A former Separatist partisan, Runa joined Zero Company out of necessity rather than ideology, and her background creates ongoing friction with Hawks and the Republic-aligned members of the squad. She handles finances and logistics, and the narrative team has described her role as keeping the lights on regardless of whether she believes in the mission or in Hawks on any given day. Runa Blask is voiced by Vic Michaelis.

Bennic Halloren
Bennic Halloren is the Republic Intelligence officer who, alongside Jae Mordant, was responsible for recruiting Zero Company for the operation against the Infinite Coil. He has been described as a “boy scout” Republic officer, which puts him ideologically at odds with most of the mercenaries and ex-enemies that make up the squad. Bennic is voiced by Leo Howard.
Neesh Renark
Neesh Renark runs the armory and black market access at the Den. He is a Lasat, the same species as Zeb from Star Wars Rebels, making him one of the more distinctive non-human base personnel in the cast. Not much has been officially detailed about his backstory ahead of launch, but his role in arming and equipping the squad makes him a frequently visited presence between missions. Neesh is voiced by Jim Pirri, known for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Returning and Guest Characters
Anakin Skywalker appears in Star Wars Zero Company, confirmed in the Summer Game Fest 2026 gameplay trailer. Matt Lanter, who has voiced Anakin in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Mandalorian, reprises the role. His presence crosses briefly with the Zero Company crew during the campaign. Gorga, voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson of The Batman and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, was confirmed at the San Diego Comic-Con 2026 cast panel, and the name matches the canon Clone Wars character Gorga the Hutt, which would fit Hawks’ confirmed backstory involving a debt to the Hutt clans.
Antagonists
The antagonists of Star Wars Zero Company are organized under the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned faction serving as the primary threat across the campaign.
Kundri Fathom is the leader of the Infinite Coil and the central villain of Zero Company. She is the architect of the threat that sets the campaign in motion, and her seizure of Luunata from Jae Mordant is one of the inciting events of the story. Rekha Sharma, known for Star Trek: Discovery and Battlestar Galactica, voices Fathom.
Visser is an Infinite Coil elite commander who operates beneath Fathom. Dylan Kenin, known for Mayor of Kingstown, voices the role.
Typhon is an ST-series Super Tactical Droid and the Separatist strategist among the antagonists, described as obsessed with the Shadow Plague. Hunter Smith, known for Monster Hunter Wilds, provides the voice.
About Star Wars Zero Company
Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, with a release date of August 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Set in the Star Wars Universe during the Clone Wars, ZCOM puts you in command of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story centered on morally ambiguous characters pulled from across the galaxy. Zero Company is an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire, and the premise is simple: set aside your differences, tackle high stakes battles against nearly impossible odds, and stop an emerging threat before it’s left unchecked.
What makes Zero Company stand out mechanically is how much the game asks of you as the lead commander of your dynamic squad. You are not just managing your team in individual fights. Between missions you are building a base of operations, running an informant network, and gathering intelligence on your enemies as the war shifts around you. The ever shifting battlefield and cinematic original story means that every decision you make in the field and at home base has real consequences for how the story plays out, and as the story unfolds, those conflicting loyalties shape both missions and relationships at the Den. Tactical operations across the galaxy range from direct combat to investigations, and you will need to adapt your approach to each one rather than relying on a single strategy to carry you through.
Character Creation in Star Wars Zero Company
The custom characters system is one of the most exciting things about Zero Company for anyone who likes to create a squad from the ground up. Hawks can be fully customized in both appearance and combat class, and the operatives you recruit can also be fully customizable to an extent, offering a wide range of original Star Wars character classes and species including Clone Troopers, a Jedi, and even a Mandalorian bounty hunter. That gives you operatives composed of different roles and loadouts built around the kind of tactical synergy you want.
As your custom operators develop over the campaign, you also improve the squad’s skills, while each one brings their own abilities and personality to the table, and the goal of the game is to forge this unlikely group into something capable of punching far above their weight. It is a war story, and Bit Reactor is clearly committed to making the stakes feel real. Defeat is always possible, the galaxy is always in the balance, and how you get there is entirely up to you.
